Mr. Tan Chee Yuen specializes in corporate and commercial law. He holds dual professional qualifications in law and accounting. As a distinguished lawyer, he is licensed to practice in Singapore, Australia, and Malaysia. Additionally, he is a Chartered Accountant in Malaysia and a CPA in Australia.
With over 25 years of experience, Mr. Tan has been integral to numerous cross-border commercial transactions, including complex mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, private debt and securities issues, and other business dealings. Notably, he led the legal team representing Malaysia in the development of the China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park and its counterpart, the Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park, both significant national-level industrial projects.
Prior to joining our firm, Mr. Tan honed his expertise at esteemed law firms such as Shook Lin & Bok in Malaysia and Drew & Napier LLC in Singapore. His career also includes serving as the Legal Advisor to Chinese Media International Limited Group and as the Group Chief Operating Officer of Sin Chew Media Group, the largest Chinese media organization outside of mainland China.
